Created by BBC Radio’s Paul Quinn and playwright Liam Gillies, Edquiring Minds with Stephen Edwards is a half-scripted half-improv show described as Alan Partridge meets Curb Your Enthusiasm, which sees Stephen, our protagonist interviewer, talking to a series of odd guests as he struggles to find podcast fame.
Stephen’s desperate attempts to gain internet acclaim backfire again and again as the guests he books to appear on his show never give him the award-winning interviews he needs, but turn the show into a ludicrous back and forth full of surprise twists and comic moments.
