TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In buying Showtown tickets you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions

Any children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Booking, Payment & Cancellations

Showtown is private property. Anyone entering Showtown, during opening hours, must hold a valid admission ticket or hold a valid Membership.

Full payment will be required at the time of booking. Payment can be made by credit/debit card.

All bookings are non-refundable, non-transferable and not for resale.

Bookings will only be exchanged or refunded if Showtown, in its absolute discretion, chooses to do so.

For the avoidance of any doubt, the total cost of a booking is non-refundable in the event that admission is refused or relinquished for any reason referred to in these terms and conditions.

If booking a visit on behalf of other guests, the person booking the visit accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of every guest and shall ensure that those guests comply with these terms and conditions.

You should contact Showtown immediately, during office hours on 0808 175 6929 or by email to info@showtownblackpool.co.uk should you wish to amend or cancel your booking. If requested by you, we will attempt to offer you a visit on an alternative date, however your annual pass can still be used for 12 months following your initial booking date so there is no need to contact us to change your visit date if you have purchased a full price adult or child ticket.

Annual Pass with Gift Aid

All full price adult and child tickets are eligible for Gift Aid to be applied.

With Gift Aid, every £1 you spend on a ticket turns into £1.25 for us, without you paying extra.

Full price adult and child tickets eligible for gift aid are valid for 12 months from the date and time of your first visit and is referred to as your annual pass to Showtown.

Annual Passes are non-transferable – they can only be used by the people who came on the initial visit. Photo ID will be required on all future visits. Please note that the Annual Pass is not valid for school trips or group visits or with any other discount or offer.

We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or cancel any passes suspected of being used fraudulently, and to change these terms and conditions as necessary, at any time.

Return visits using an annual pass are subject to availability and you may be asked to wait for your admission during busy times.

Resident Tickets

Blackpool residents who pay council tax to Blackpool council are eligible for a free visit.

Blackpool residents tickets should be booked in advance via our website or by phone and are only available to permanent residents within the following postcode areas.

FY1, FY2, FY3, FY4, FY5, FY6 7QN, FY6 7QP, FY6 7QS, FY6 7QX, FY8 3YG or FY8 5RR.

You will be required to produce proof of address on admission to the museum.

We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or cancel any passes suspected of being used fraudulently and to change these terms and conditions as necessary, at any time.

We ask residents to book tickets responsibly to enable as many people as possible to be able to access the museum. We reserve the right to cancel future bookings if residents don’t use their booked slots or if they book an excessive number of tickets.

Group Tickets

Group tickets are available for visitor booking 10 or more standard tickets for a visit to Showtown.

Tickets must be paid for in advance of the visit and the normal booking terms and conditions apply.

Group visits and admissions are issued as a day ticket only and does not qualify the ticket holder to an Annual Pass: FREE RETURN POLICY.

Showtown resident and VIP memberships are not valid as part of a group visit and a group rate will be charged.

Group and school prices are not available in conjunction with any other offer.

Schools

School bookings must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance and full payment is required in advance of the visit.

Schools within the Blackpool Local Authority qualify for free school admissions which must be booked in advance. Charges apply to any schools’ workshops that you book as part of your visit.

In addition to the Standard schools group rate, schools will receive one free ticket per 5 primary school children and one free ticket per 10 secondary school children.

Risk assessment and agreement to terms and conditions for school visits to be provided in advance of the visit.


We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to vary the opening and closing dates of Showtown Blackpool and to close, remove or cancel all or any part of the galleries, events or facilities for any reason including, but not limited to, technical, health and safety and/or operational reasons or due to special events or private functions. The full value or any part of the value of the Annual Pass will not be refunded nor will any compensation be offered.
