Poems for The Romantics from the Anti-Romantic

Poems for The Romantics from the Anti-Romantic is a stand-up comedy/poetry set about the challenges of looking for love when you are visually impaired!

A series of original love poems performed by Helena presented as a goth in a wedding veil, to represent that there is someone for everyone!

The performance includes audience interaction which involves asking the audience questions about what they think love is? Helena divulges in to her own experience of love as an albino and visually impaired woman to show that in society being different or disabled can make finding love difficult in a social media-led world.

Previously commissioned by Lancashire Fringe 2019 and performed at Brewtime 2021.

Audience Member review- “Beautiful and funny poetry, had such fun listening to the perils of lockdown internet dating!"
