Opportunities to work with schools and young people

From April 2024, Showtown will be offering lots of opportunities for local schools and young people to become involved with projects based around dance, music and our young people's steering group.

Music to my ears

Registration open: June 2024.

Delivery: Sept/Oct 2024 in chosen schools.

Level: KS1 and KS2

Theme: Based on the Get Dancing learning pack, covering Blackpool's music history and people of significance including songwriter, composer and music producer, Lawrence Wright. This music based workshops will be delivered in primary schools by Showtown.

Dancing Classrooms

Registration open: Nov 2024.

Delivery: Jan - March 2025 in chosen schools.

Level: KS1 and KS2
