Did you know that we hold thousands of objects and records in our collections? All of these things are cared for by our heritage team; experts in protecting and preserving our past.
Lots of these objects and records have been donated by people just like you. People who've lived and worked in Blackpool and love the town as much as we do.
At the moment, our team continue to work hard behind the scenes to reopen our History Centre in Blackpool Central Library.
In order to do this work, we continue to pause on collecting new material to the collections until we have a reopening date confirmed.
We have been overwhelmed with the generosity and enthusiasm of people to gift their valued history to Blackpool's historic collections and their help in telling Blackpool's story.
