Come and explore the history of Raikes Hall Royal Palace Gardens in Blackpool. Short talks, a fantastic exhibition and fun activities for our younger visitors, will provide insight into Blackpool’s own pleasure gardens and the wealth of entertainment they provided in the town during the later Victorian period.
Just drop by, everyone is welcome, FREE admission.
Special thanks for his contribution to this project go to David Slattery-Christy who has supplied the text and images for the exhibition about Raikes Hall and The Royal Palace Gardens. His hard work has drawn attention to this little understood part of Blackpool's entertainment and architectural history.
