Travelling from Showtown to the Spitfire Visitor Centre is easy by public transport. Hop on a southbound tram from the Promenade (near Blackpool Tower) and ride to Starr Gate, just a 20-minute journey.
From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Hangar 42 at Blackpool Airport. Alternatively, buses from the town centre (routes 7 or 11) head towards Squires Gate Lane, with a brief walk to the Visitor Centre. Plan ahead, and enjoy the ride through Blackpool’s heritage.
